Hardy re-signs with the Chicago Bears
Former College of the Siskiyous linebacker Daniel Hardy is re-signing with the Chicago Bears.
Hardy’s new deal is reportedly for two years with about $2.5 million guaranteed and up to $6 million he could earn with incentives.
Hardy spent the previous two seasons in Chicago and has been a special teams standout, helping the Bears win the 2025 NFC North championship and reach the divisional round of the NFC playoffs, where they lost to the Los Angeles Rams. The 6-foot-2, 255-pound Oregon native has recorded 38 tackles (14 solo), one forced fumble and one blocked punt in his NFL career, which began with the Rams in 2022 (they drafted him that year in the seventh round).
Hardy transferred from College of the Siskiyous to Montana State University in 2018. He earned All-America honors in his final college season, in which he led MSU to the FCS title game and tallied 16.5 sacks and 24.5 tackles for loss.
